    We were this weekend with friend's who recommended this restaurant, from the arrival the very friendly manager received us, we asked him for suggestions from the menu and everything delicious. Patricia: excellent quality of service. I loved souvenirs, the pajama is very comfortable and of good quality. Thank you so much! We will come back and recommend them a lot.

    Went to Black Bear Diner this Sunday. Usually I get decent service when visiting. This time was a little different. The manager Ricardo, acknowledged us right away with a pleasant greet. After seating us, he asked what we wanted to drink. We ordered a couple of drinks and our Waitress Alisa brought them to us. She was very pleasant, friendly and welcoming. I was starving and wasn't sure if I wanted to tri-tip or meatloaf. She gave suggestions and was knowledgeable about the menu. Which I greatly appreciated. This might not seem like a big deal, but nowadays being acknowledged when you walk into a store, market, restaurant, etc seems to be almost non-existed. It's considered to be a high standard when you are given the basics of customer service. And we are to accept that. Well this Black Bear Diner was not only giving the basics of customer service, they were actually giving customer service. Not to mention the place WAS CLEAN and yes, EVEN THE BATHROOMS!!! From the waiter Alisa to the manager Ricardo, the entire staff seemed to like working there and it all seemed to run very smoothly. I use to be a field operations manager and can tell when a place runs well from the way the staff works. I was so satisfied with the quality of food, level of service and overall price of Black Bear Diner that we will definitely be back and try other locations more often. Thank you Ricardo and Alisa for leaving such a great impression on us!

    This place is really good. The service was absolutely amazing. A lady was helping us and she remembered our entire order which was awesome. Everything that came out was correct and the atmosphere inside of the rest is awesome. Their menu is so cool because it's a newspaper style also, there's lots of cool Easter egg bear items throughout the restaurant. The food was OK, nothing special but I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

    Overall I would rate this place about 3.5 stars. The food was pretty good and came out fast. The only issue is that our waiter was unusually rude and acted annoyed while taking our order. He seemed okay otherwise but it felt very strange. The food was good and the quantity was filling. The place felt clean and decorated about the same as most Black Bear Diners. It had a relaxed vibe overall. I think we'll try this place again. I just never had a waiter behave that way, so I'm sure it's a once off sort of situation. Maybe he was having a bad day?
